Dr. Ahmad Fathi is certified by the American Board of Dermatology, the American Board of Dermatopathology , the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery . He is also a fellow of the Society of Phlebology of America, an organization dedicated to research and management of venous disorders.

Dr. Fathi has completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Chicago and has served as chief resident and later research instructor at the same university.

Dr. Fathi has also served as a clinical professor at the Indiana University.

He is either a member or a fellow of a variety of professional organizations such as:

• American Academy of Dermatology
• American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery
• Indiana Medical Association
• Lake County Medical Society
• Chicago Dermatological Society

Dr. Fathi has been practicing in Northwest Indiana since 1983 providing a variety of dermatological and cosmetic surgical procedures.
